Art.i.fact 6th Annual Sock Drive

Now through the end of January, Art.i.Fact is collecting new socks (and stuff) to benefit Casa Familia Urgent Transition Center, our shelter for families and women. Casa Familia receives regular donations of clothing (including those from Art.i.fact), but good socks are in short supply.

Please bring new pairs of wool or wool-blend socks to Art.i.fact through Jan. 31 and receive 10% off any non-sale item in the store (excluding artwork). They will also accept warm scarves, hats, and gloves, plus toiletries including full-size shampoo, conditioner, and soap.

Casa Familia is working harder than ever before to serve the neediest members of our community. The challenges imposed by the pandemic have been vast, from economic to logistical - the very work we've done for years has been turned upside down and inside out as we seek ways to ensure safety and deliver much-needed services.

Many families who come to Casa Familia arrive with little more than the clothing on their backs. They often spend their days outside, traveling to job interviews, social service agencies, and community centers. They walk or take the bus and warm socks are essential. Please join Art.i.fact in helping out.

Art.i.fact is located at 930 Baca St., Suite C (two doors down from Counter Culture).

Hours are 10 a.m.-5p.m. Monday through Saturday
