Giving and Receiving at St. E's

Hygeine Closets at our Men's Shelter

Our organization is dedicated to providing emergency shelter, food, case management, and counseling to our guests; however, our community might not be aware they we are also active in providing many more services to our clients throughout the year. At our location at 804 Alraid St. we provide mail service, give out toiletries, warm clothing, blankets and other items. We even offer simple first aid and will call paramedics for people in need of professional medical attention.

Dozens of people come by each day for these services. From January through September 2017, we distributed an estimated 3,400 items of clothing, 820 blankets, and 5,020 hygiene bags. All members of our community in need of this kind of support are welcome to stop by our shelters for these services.

The other side of giving is of course receiving. If you’re interested in supporting our work, we always welcome donations of blankets, warm clothing, hygiene products, and other items in good condition. We accept donations at both our men’s and women’s shelter. You can give us a call at 982-6611 for men’s donations and 983-2042 for donations for women and children.
