St. E's Railyard Park Cleanup with AT&T

St. Elizabeth's Program Director, Maria Lopez, with volunteers from AT&T Santa Fe

Last weekend, Santa Fe AT&T staff partnered up with St. Elizabeth Emergency Shelter to volunteer in the community. AT&T staff gave their Sunday morning hours to participate with St. E’s in picking up litter at the Rail Yard Park. Thanks to the group for giving back to the community and keeping Santa Fe looking beautiful.

This is a volunteer project that the staff & residents from St' E's have taken on either as a group from the shelter or in partnership with other volunteer groups for the last 2 years. Regularly cleaning up the park strengthens our ties with the Santa Fe community, keeps our neighborhood park clean, and is a great way to get to know our neighbors outside of the shelter. We also feel it is our responsibility to assist our many clients who are differently abled and find it difficult to keep this city space clean.

Would you like to volunteer at the shelter?

We are seeking volunteers who can provide our guests

with rides to medical and other appointments. Visit our volunteer page here.
